When is the start of SY 2023-2024?

Malayan Science will open its School Year 2023-2024 on July 31, 2023.


What will be the mode of learning delivery in School Year 2023-2024?

While DepEd has not released an updated guideline for learning delivery of SY 2023-2024, the Malayan High School of Science will continue to implement the adapted TriX mode of Mapua University (F2F, synchronous online, and asynchronous online).


I am a new student. When and how can I enroll?

The enrollment for incoming Grade 7 students and transferees is now ongoing. Applicants who have the results of their entrance examination may already proceed with their enrollment. To ensure a safe and convenient experience, we encourage you to enroll following the online enrollment process and to pay your matriculation fees through the online payment option found at https://malayanscience.edu.ph/Services/Payment_Concerns_and_Options.


Is there a qualifying examination for new students?

Yes, we do. Once the application has been received by the school, we will schedule you for an examination that you could talk online or onsite. The examination is composed of three areas: Math, Science, and English. The examination fee for SY 2023-2024 is also waived.


When is the enrollment for old students?

The enrollment for old students will begin on May 29, 2023.


When will the report cards of MHSS students be released?

Malayan Science will announce the release of printed report cards. However, parents may also view the final grades of students through the Parent Portal. For login problems, please send an email [email protected].


We don’t have the complete requirements for enrollment yet because of the ongoing quarantine. Can we still enroll?

Yes. Applicants may apply online at www.malayanscience.edu.ph/Applicant.aspx. After submitting your application, the Admissions Office will get in touch with you and assist you with your application. The Admissions Office will also announce the deadline of submission of enrollment requirements. Regularly visit www.malayanscience.edu.ph for important announcements.



On Payments

Some students are having financial difficulty because of the pandemic. Will there be considerations for those who may not be able to settle their back accounts?

What payment channels does Malayan Science have?

How much is the initial payment for enrollment?

You can enroll at Malayan Science for a down payment of 40% of your total matriculation fees.

What is the edge of Malayan Science over other science high schools?

Malayan High School of Science is a privately owned science high school. The school is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that enable students to appreciate scientific studies not just on the theoretical level. With these facilities, the students are also able to apply what they have learned inside the classroom. Malayan Science also offers specially designed curricula featuring specialization tracks in Robotics, Coding, Technology, and Multimedia on top of its advanced science and mathematics subjects and subjects set by the Department of Education.

I’ve heard that the school is a bullying-free environment. Is this true?

The school is very particular about bullying and does not tolerate any form of it. Malayan Science has instituted the Safe School Policy that promotes and ensures the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of its students.


How is Malayan High School of Science connected to Mapúa University?

Malayan Science is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mapúa University. It was established to succeed Mapúa’s pre-engineering high school and to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education to help further nation building and national development.


Does Malayan Science have senior high school?

Malayan Science only offers junior high school. Its senior high school is the Mapúa Senior High School. Malayan Science Grade 10 completers are pre-qualified for admission to Mapúa. There will be no entrance test; students will only need to take the Mapúa Program Placement Assessment. It will be a seamless application-to-enrollment process and will be done fully online. School documents will be processed school to school. Students who have completed Grade 7 to Grade 10 at Malayan Science will be given a 25% tuition fee discount when they enroll at Mapúa Senior High School.


Does Malayan Science offer scholarships to students?

Malayan Science has various scholarship programs available to qualified and deserving students, both in academics and sports. Malayan Science is also a Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC)-certified school, which allows it to provide Education Servicing Contract (ESC) Grants to incoming Grade 7 students and accept ESC grantees from other schools.

Where is the school located?

Malayan Science is located at 8013 Paz M. Guazon Street, Pandacan, Manila, Philippines. The school is in front of Landers Superstore and only a few meters away from Robinson’s Otis.
