This school year, two students who are also members of the first batch are admitted to UP Diliman as parttime students because while enrolled in the university, they are also taking some high school subjects at MHSS. The Loja brothers, Sol and Luc, passed an international accrediting test which qualified them for UP. Unfortunately, Sol and Luc deferred their UP studies. The gifted brothers were accepted on full scholarship at the Korea Science Academy of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KSA-KAIST). Their classes commenced February 1, 2010.

Likewise, a good number of MHSS graduating students passed the entrance tests of the other top universities in Metro Manila. Eleven (11) out of 47 or 23.40% passed the Ateneo College Entrance Test (ACET); 23 out of 57 or 40.35% passed the La Salle entrance examination and 42 out of 52 or 80.77% passed the UST entrance examination.

For being a top performer at the ACET, Kyle Pandapatan of IV-Threonine is included in the Director’s List and is offered some scholarships.

Congratulations to the passers!
