MHSS student triumphant in Singapore Math contest
Friday, September 18, 2015Grade 8 Audrey Gabrielle Tan won another international Math competition in Singapore last August 14-17.
Tan bagged a bronze medal in the elimination round, and a silver medal in the content proper of the Singapore International Mathematics Olympiad Competition.
Tan shared that before the competition, she trained every Saturday through worksheet practices. During her free time, she would read and surf the Internet, and talk with her friends. According to her, the most needed value of students joining competitions is discipline.
