Indian arts professor visits MHSS to give demo-lecture

Professor Ramesh Kumar of the Institute of Art in Delhi, India, visited Malayan High School of Science (MHSS) last August 13 to give a demo-lecture on the colorful and interesting Indian paper art. The students, complete with pairs of scissors and pieces of colorful paper, carefully listened to and followed the instructions of Professor Kumar to create the beautiful art works of abanico indio, garland, lotus, and doll. Professor Kumar, together with a team from the Institute of Art, is in the country for a month-long lecture tour at different schools in Metro Manila to promote Indian art.
