Team Sindak visits the House of Representatives; recognized for excellence in Robotics

Malayan High School of Science's (MHSS) robotics group Team Sindak, which was named Best Rookie at the 2012 Tagisang Robotics: Design, Build, and Play held November 21-23 at the SMX Convention Center, paid a courtesy call on House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. and AGHAM representative Angelo Palmones at the House of Representatives last November 28. Accompanied by MHSS principal Dr. Efren B. Mateo and administrative officer Ferdinand R. Geronimo, Team Sindak, which was composed of 10 fourth year students led by Lloyd Garison Ong, and its coach Mr. Dhonny P. Bacuyag were awarded with medals and a cash prize of P60,000 and were recognized by the country's legislators during the plenary session. The Malayans were also toured around the House of Representatives and enriched with the history of the Philippine legislature.
