MHSS Freshman Stars in a Swedish Film

Saturday, October 17, 2009Jan David Nicdao of I-Einstein, shares a stellar role in the Swedish movie, Mammut (also Mammoth, original title). In the film, Nicdao is Salvador, one of the sons of Gloria (Marife Necesito), who plays as a domestic helper to a successful New York couple.

Peter Ericson, a movie reviewer, hailed the performances of Necesito and Nicdao when he wrote: as a mother and her eldest son, Marife Necesito and Jan David G. The film was written and directed by Lukas Moodysson and was shot in the US, Vietnam and the Philippines. The movie will be screened for the first time in the Philippines by Cinemalaya at Market Market Cinema, Fort Bonifacio Global City, Pasig City on October 17, 2009 at 7:00 pm.
